Trudy Porter
Trudy Porter is an educator who has worked in schools, the school district, the provincial Department of Education and the Faculty of Education at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also completed a PhD focused on supporting young learners and inclusive education. Trudy attends the Mother Goose program with her three grandsons and values the way it fosters early language and connection through songs and stories. She enjoys the welcoming environment and the opportunity to engage with other caregivers. Being part of Mother Goose has become a meaningful and joyful part of her week.

Lyn Evans, a lifelong resident of St. John's, Newfoundland. She began her career as a meteorologist almost 25 years ago, forecasting the terrestrial and marine weather across Canada. Her dedication to quality and excellence led her to her current role as Global Quality Manager at a leading engineering and professional services firm. Lyn has been a long-time advocate of the Mother Goose program in Newfoundland and Labrador, she has participated in the program with all three of her children, reinforcing the importance of literacy and interactive learning within her community.

Carolyn enjoyed a 34 year career with the Federal Public Service, holding numerous management positions before retiring in 2019. She is a graduate of Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and she holds a Certified Professional Accountants designation. Carolyn is the mother of 3 children and in her free time enjoys singing in 2 choirs, playing pickleball and hiking.

Zoe is an educator and parent of a young graduate of the Newfoundland and Labrador Parent-Child Mother Goose Program. A strong believer in building community, she and her child found joy from their weekly Mother Goose sessions for 3+ years, and continue to cherish the relationships made along the way.
Outside of parenting and working with children, Zoe loves making and listening to music, getting crafty, as well as cooking and baking for others.
